Before the appointment
- Door-to-door assistance from home to vehicle.
- Help gathering personal items (ID, paperwork, mobility aids).
- Safe entry into the medical facility.
- Check-in assistance if needed.
During the appointment
- Companion remains on-site during the appointment.
- Waiting room support and supervision.
- Emotional reassurance and calm presence.
- Mobility assistance within the facility (walking, wheelchair support).
Companions do not provide medical advice or clinical care.
Communication & Updates
- Status updates to family or caregivers (if authorized).
- Confirmation when the appointment is completed.
- Coordination with the return pickup time or “will call”.
After the Appointment
- Safe escort back to the vehicle.
- Return transportation home or to the next destination.
- Ensuring the client is safely inside before departure.
